On January 8, 1935, a man was born that would change the world. Even obstacles such as poverty, small town beginnings & childhood harassement could not stay his date with destiny. His 1st song was "Old Shep". He sang it from a chair at a dairy show when he was a mere ten years old. He placed second. A small glimpse into what his future would hold. From that moment until we last heard him sing "Can't Help Falling In Love" he mesmerized and captivated all who heard him. He is truly a legend and looked at piece by piece he really was not that remarkable. But put together, his voice, music, style, dance and chrisma produced a package that literally would make thousands faint at the sight of him. On August 16, 1977, the world mourned the passing of this man. 23 long years have gone by & his catalogue of over 650 recorded songs can still bring those of all ages to their feet in dance. Tonight Gary K & Joey Nino will lead you by the hand down memory lane. They will bring you back in time with costumes, scarves, lights and of course the music.
