One Day A Long Time Ago
The Salvation Story Began To Unfold
The Angry Crowd Led Jesus Up A Hill
The Grip Of Death Had It's Deadly Chill
They Looked At Him With An Ice Cold Stare
Not Knowing His Love And Care
On The Hill The Tension Grew
His Life's Blood Paved Salvation's Way
Giving Us Hope To Face Another Day
As They Laid Him In A Tomb
It Looked Hopeless He Looked Doomed
Three Days Later All Hope Seemed Lost
But He Rose From The Dead Defeating The Cross
Triumphantly He Beat The Grave For He Lives And Reigns
He Broke The Curse Of Sin And Of Death
Giving All A New Breath
For All Who Call On God's Only Son
The Gift Of Salvation Has Been Won
