Greater love has no-one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends
John 15:13
The True Martyrs
This poem is dedicated to everyone who was killed
at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon 9-11-01.
A Flag Flying Ever So High
On Top Of A Building In The Sky
Then A Crashing Thunder
Came From Out Of The Blue
Not Hit Once But It Was Hit Twice
The Souls In Those Planes Paid A Price
The Firemen Rushed In
But They Paid Their Due Too
Trying To Rescue A Soul Like Me And You
They Showed The Flags’ True Valor
The Pilots Thought They Were Martyrs
But They Were Wrong
Because In Their Hearts They Didn’t Have A Song
The Song Our Martyrs Had
Was The Song For Our Flag
A Song For The Red White Blue
To Me These People Held The Flag True
God bless everyone who have and are paying the price!
