Today's early afternoon game was against the arch rivals Vikings. Liberal substituions and H20 kept our girls fresh in their season's first hot game day.

The JETS deafeated the Vikings 6-1, but not without a close first half struggle. The JETS took a 1-0 lead but only held on to it for five minutes when the Vikings scored the tying goal.

Brooke took the ensuing kickoff straight down the field to score the go ahead goal and the JETS never looked back. Lakin and Kayla C. played well in the goal as they were tested often by the Viking offense. The second half was dominated by the JETS defense and our forwards took the advantage to score four more goals.

An interesting side light to this game is that the JETS scrimmage these same Vikings during their Friday practices.

Our next game is March 29th at 4:20 p.m. against the Panthers as the JETS try to continue their winning streak.

Scorers for the game were:
Bell-2
Brooke-1
Fatima-1
Lakin-1
Samantha-1
MVP(s) of game 3 were Brooke Clingenpeel and Lakin Porter.
