Review of the Double Door show in Chicago

Greetings all. I was at the Gas Giants show at the Double Door in Chicago this past weekend. They played second on a bill of four, which I thought was kind of strange. The first band was a cross between the Cure and Pink Floyd and the lead singer couldn't sing. I was thankful they only got 30 minutes.

Robin Wilson and the rest of the band were pretty much wandering around the club when it first opened and during the 1st band but no one really recognized them. The Local papers didn't even have the Gas Giants on the bill, and I had to call that afternoon to make sure they were actually going to be there.

They came on and they ROCKED! They played Now the Change, In Between Two Worlds, Stinking up the Charts, Whose Side are You On, Circus of Stars, and closed with Quitter. That's all the time they had, and they kept conversation to a minimum so they could play more songs. They received rousing applause and said they'd be playing Chicago a lot, which is very cool. They pretty much sounded just like they do on the CD.

All for now.
