Une autre version a aussi été enregistrée au Studio Nicko en 1999. Une composition construite à partir d'un échantillonage de batterie, de « picking » de guitare, et d'une distortion d'images choc datant du début du XXe siècle jusqu'à présent.
« Je suis très satisfait de ce montage que j'ai fait durant mon séjour à André-Grasset. Ça été mon hobby pour environ deux mois » raconte Eric Mailhot à propos de sa toute nouvelle création.

Another version of this song was recorded in 1999 at Studio Nicko. Music composed using drum samples on Orchestrator plus, using SoundBlaster audio card. I found it was important to incorporate electric guitar picking, and keep it in a loop, at a repetitive, marching pace. The distortion, the voices heard, the almost mechanical drum, just made the video happen.
I had so much footage to work with. All I needed was a lot of patience to sort through, and decide what the images were saying through the song. Of course, I had audio "markers" to work with, but I still had to decipher the pace and the meaning of the tempo. A meaning to which I should pace my loops. Ha ha...
