TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN!
An idea has come to mind that I feel a complete idiot for putting forward, both for its utter simplicity and for my difficulty in getting it accross.
Many ideas that have had me sitting up before are long forgotten, either because I had dropped it because of some shortcoming, or because I had learnt that it was already employed somehow. But this one keeps on haunting me, especially when there is another outbreak of violence in the Middle East, or the Balkans, or, for more or less the same reasons, somewhere in Africa. (Where I happen to live as a member of a tribe that, according to the latest findings, is said to have left Africa so very long ago that both we and the guys who stayed here have drifted apart in appearance and behaviour so much that we find it not so easy to live peacefully side by side.)
The plan is about bringing peace to torn countries in a way that appears to have a chance to really work and that might be a step towards leaving the ultimate judgement where it belongs --- not in our hands.
Those wars are expensive and senseless. The more sophisticated they become, the less one can argue that wars are natural purifiers of the human race, or have some other advantage, for bombs are blind and nobody won't benefit from peace.
The simplicity of the concept might might be deceptive, both in terms of transmitting it and in terms of possibly implementing it, but I can't help feeling that it may be worth probing. My biggest problem is that I can't sleep with the guilt of not at least putting the idea on the table. Secondly I feel somewhat under equipped to bring it to notice. Putting it in the right perspective and getting it accross without bumping into established predjudices is more difficult than I had thought. I (and maybe many others?) will be grateful for whatever assistence, whether in the form of criticism, development or promotion, you may be able to give in this regard. --- Maybe giving the form of state proposed a distinctive name will be a good start.
If you are interested, please have a squiz at the balance of the effort on the other pages and tell me what you think (even if you shot it down, for then at least I could sleep!), or pass it on to someone that might be --- it's at the worst a conversation piece that might lead to something interesting.
