The new era of the modern Goth has been itching on the last nerve of the all conservative non conforming elders (early Goths).  There is a little fued going down in the underground between the Goth's that consider themselves old school and those of the new.  I am not particularly familiar with the early Goth music except for Bauhaus and The Cure you see, I am not old fashion or fond of the new I just like what sounds good and that is all that I think gives me joy.  Listening to a tune of any kind should be about what gives you pleasure and not what causes you to go out and argure a paragraph with the local modern Goth.  People, EBM...(Electronic Body Music) is very good in itself...there are many good bands and bands I couldnt give a shit about but atleast the scene is evolving, forever moving. In conclusion, there shouldnt be any argument that EBM is here to stay and possibly see its demise in years to come to only once again witness the birth of the new and that is all there is to do.    Matt

"I cant get enough of Combi Christ so I am definately going to be listening to some more ebm music.  I am new to the scene and I went to a club with a goth friend of mine and I really liked it.  You should post some links on ebm music and music artist so I could check out google sucks.   -SLy
My pleasure I am alway sglad to help a newcomer, a word of advice though Sly try to find out more about the origins of the Gothic culture because while music is important there are alot of vital things that keep makes a person truly Goth.  You dont want to go into a lifestyle and completely fucking hate it.  Dont make a mistake and save yourself the time.
This site has the basic information about EBM music, educational.
Goth origins (although everyone has their own perspective) closes to my own opinion.
