Digimon meets Pokemon- starts where the season one digidestend need to put the cards in place, to go home and find the eighth child before Myotismon, but they wind up in the Pokemon world instead.
It's the middle of Digimon season 1 at the moment when the 6 digidestined told Tai that he is their leader so he should choose how to put in the cards to open the gate to hopefully the real world. Instead of getting the idea to let Izzy do it, Tai tries to figure it out himself. Eventually, the building starts collapsing (as it does in the TV show) and Tai is forced to quickly choose a combination to put the cards in, so they can get out of there. Weregarurumon holds off Dokugumon until everyone, but Matt enters the portal. Then Matt and Tsunomon jump through the portal right before the building totally collapses. The card combination Tai chose lands them in the Pokemon World.
"Did everyone make it?" "Where are we?" "Is this earth?" Izzy,"Well there's grass and trees. It sure seems like the real world." Mimi,"Eew gross! What is that?" Izzy,"Well, maybe not." Tai,"A two headed purple flying Digimon?" Motimon,"It sure doesn't look like any Digimon I've ever seen." Izzy," Hey, wait a minute. How do you even know that thing is a digimon?" Sora,"Well if it's not a Digimon than what is it?" Mimi, " Who cares what it is, it's discusting!" Creature:(faint sound)"Weezing" Joe,"Relax Mimi, be glad this world isn't the the one where humans and Digimon switch skin." Mimi,"Oh please don't remind me." Matt: "Izzy, isn't this supposed to be a different world?" Sora: "Or could it be another part of the Digital World?"
Creature:(louder) "Weezing" Izzy: "Well, from what Jeni said, this is supposed to be another dimention...but what is that thing saying?" Matt: "sounds to me like it said weezing." Sora: "Or maybe it's saying we sing." Creature: "Weezing" Joe: "No definitly Weezing, sounds to me like this thing is sick." TK: "hey Matt, isn't weezing the sound you make when you get sick?" Matt: "Well, people do cough and weeze when they get get sick, but aren't we loosing our focus here?" Sora: "Yea, we're supposed to be looking for the eighth digidestined." Izzy: "But shouldn't we find out where we are first?" Tai: "Good point." Matt: "but let's not forget what our mission is." Izzy: "Right, but my digimon analyzer isn't working so that must not be a Digimon." Matt: "Hey maybe we've returned in the future and that thing is just some mechanical play toy." Mimi: "Yuck! Who would play with that? Do you really think they'd make a play toy that discusting?" Izzy: and who'd want to program a toy to say weezing? Mimi: Beats me. Tai: Or maybe it's alien who speaks another language. Izzy: That's it! Weezing must mean something else in a different language. Tai: Huh? come on, let's leave this purple thing and go see if we can find anything else familiar to prove whether this is earth or not. Matt: Yeah, Lets go. Izzy: Oh, all right. I just wish I could figure out that purple thing before we leave...just courious.
They leave the creature behind who says "Weezing" before they go, and then (like the Pokemon TV show) they coincidentally encounter Ash, Misty, and Brock on their Pokemon Journey. Tai:"Hey look here comes three other kids with 2 other creatures." Koromon: are "they real human beings?" Tai: "Of course they are...or well, at least I hope." Izzy: "We won't find out until we meet them, and perhaps they can answer a few of our questions." Brock gets all excited over Mimi and Sora. Palamon makes a comment of how charming Mimi is, and Misty pulls Brock by the ear away from Sora. Tai: "What's with him?" Misty: "Oh, don't mind him. He does this every time he meets a pretty girl." Ash: "yall sure have a lot of Pokemon that we haven't seen before. Oh and my name's Ash and I'm trying to be the worlds greatest Pokemon master." Ash takes out his pokedex to find out what Pokemon they are. Misty: "I'm Misty and I'm trying to learn all I can about water Pokemon." Ash: "Why isn't this thing working? Oh and that's Brock and he wants to be the world's greatest breeder...it's still not working." Brock: "You can forget the pokedex and my name... What I want to know are the names of these two beautiful young ladies." Tai: "Well, that's Mimi and Sora. I'm Tai. This is Izzy." Matt: "Let's skip the intruductions and cut to the chase." Tai: "That's Matt and this is TK." Ash: Could you just tell me the names of your Pokemon. For some reason Dexter's not working. Izzy: "Well you see, they're not Pokemon, but that's what you call them, right?" Ash: "huh?" Misty: "Well if they're not Pokemon then what are they?" Motimon: "We're digimon, digital monsters" Ash: "What? you can talk?" Misty: "Digimon?" Motimon: "yes, digital monsters" Tai: "Oh boy" Joe: "This is going to take a while" Tai: "Ge ya think?" Izzy: "So that purple thing was a Pokemon. What does that stand for?" Ash"Stand for? What purple thing are you talking about?" Izzy: "Oh, nevermind" Meanwhile, Jessie: "Hey look it's the twirps." Meowth:"but who's that with them?" James: "who cares? They've got some Pokemon I haven't seen before." Jessie: "Yes, if we steal all of them the boss will be pleased. Let's go." James and Meowth: Yea!
Izzy: "Ok so you can bread and train Pokemon but what's the purpose in that?" Ash: "What!? Are ya'll guys from another planet or something!?" Matt: "Listen Izzy, this isn't getting us anywhere.(to Ash) Here's the deal. We" Jessie: "Prepare for trouble." James: "And make it double" Tai: "Now what" Joe: "Jeez exactly what we need, more trouble" Jessie: "As I was saying, To protect the world from devistation" James: "To unite all peoples within our nation" Jessie: "to denounce the evils of truth and love" Joe: "uh so does that mean your not going to give us trouble?" James: "To extend our reach to the stars above" Jessie:"Jessie!" James:"James!" Jessie: "Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light" James:"Surrender now or prepare to fight" Meowth: "Meowth that's right" Joe: "Oh great so now we met some wierdos who want to fight. Could it get any worse" Izzy: "So they can talk, then why were you all surprised when he talked?" Gomamon: "Relax Joe" Jessie: "Hey who ya calling wierdos" Sora: "Well what you said didn't make any sense" Misty: "It never makes sense, so what do you want now?" James: "Glad you asked, we want Pikachu." Jessie: "And all these rare Pokemon" Izzy:"Well you see they're not actually Pokemon" Jessie: "You're just trying to trick us." Meowth:"Right" Ash: "Pikachu Thundershock" Pikachu: "Pika-chu" Meowth pushes a button which makes something James was holding fly up into the air absorb Pikachu's attack and send it back in scattered thin lightning bolts. (I know this is extremely unlike Digimon, but in Pokemon many things happen as just a coincidence... and they are in a Pokemon world right?) One hits Joe's digivice which starts to act weird. Joe: "uh guys?" Tai: "ugh what now" A light shines from Joe's digivice and makes a circle of opaque light at the end. Izzy:"Ooh, Hey Guys, it's a portal, let's get through it before it closes." Tk: "but how do you know it's safe?" Matt: "We don't Tk, but it came out of Joe's digivice so it can't be that harmful" Ash:"Wha" Tai: "Come on everbody, let's go." Sora:"You don't have to ask me twice." All the digidestined and digimon make it through the portal while Ash, Misty, Brock, Pikachu, and Team Rocket looked on in shock as the portal closed. James: "Where'd they go" Misty: "Back to their own world I guess" Ash: "yea, it was obvious they weren't from around here." Jessie:"No matter, we can still get Pikachu" James:"Oh right, I almost forgot." Was it Ash or Misty who replied with, "I wish you wuuld"? How did did this Pokemon episode end? And where did the digidestined land? Back at summer camp in the real world?... back in the digital world, so Izzy really has to figure out the cards this time?... or in another dimention? I'll let you decide.
and just between you and me... I think Digimon the TV show is better off with out my story. Who would want to change such an awsome story line like Digimon?... but how else could Digimon and Pokemon logically meet?
