Digimon ep 1 with Pokemon Characters as Digidestined
What if Pokemon's characters Ash, Misty, Brock, Gary, Jessie, James, and Meowth had been the original 7 digidestend? The whole story line would change. There would be different adventures and different challenges within cooperation of the team, and come to think of it, what crest would thay all have? Maybe the 7 as a team wouldn't work, but here's my version of the 1st episode of Digimon with a Pokemon twist.
Ash-Tai, Gary-Matt, James-Tk, Jessie-Mimi, Meowth-Izzy, Misty-Sora, Brock-Joe
Narrator Ash: There's home the Pokemon world, but I'm not sure that's were I am right now. Misty, Brock, and I just arrived at a Summer Pokemon Training Camp. My name's Ash. and I get to have fun battling with my pokemon while training to become a Pokemon Master.
Narrator Ash continues: That's Gary I can beat him! That's Misty. "She's ok for a girl." That's Brock, but don't show him a pretty girl or he'll go girl crazy. That's Meowth he should have gone to an only Pokemon camp since he's a Pokemon, but I don't understand. Why can he talk? That's Jessie. I bet you could guess her hair color on the first try. And lastly that's...
James: James, Bond James, And I'm not as pathetic as I've heard (remembering Jessie's words)
Narrator Ash: Somehow we all wound up at Pokemon Training Camp and it started snowing in the middle of July. Now that was pretty wierd huh?
Gary: "an arrora borrielus?"
Ash: a what?
Gary: "the northern lights"...
Brock: "But that's impossible. We're way too far south."
Meowth: "Tell that to the snow."
Jessie: "Snow, snow, I love it so."
Ash, Misty, and Brock together: "Team Rocket!"
Jessie: That's right and "prepare for trouble"...
Then out of nowhere, seven gadgets pop out from the sky.
Jessie: Hey what is the meaning of this?!
James: Jes, you might want to take a look at this.
The gadgets go flying up into their hands.
James: Look, each of the twirps got one too.
Jessie: We just might have stumbled on to something
Meowth: Yeah these babies might cost a lot of money.
Misty: Excuse me, but would someone besides me look at the sky?
All seven go flying through the two upside down waterfalls in the sky. Ash lands and wakes up to see a Koromon. Ash: What happened where's Pikachu?
Koromon: You finally came! What's a Pikachu?
Ash (repeating it): What's a Pikachu? You can talk?
Koromon: What do you expect silly?
Ash: What kind of pokemon are you?
Ash takes out Dexter. Dexter: Pokemon unknown.
Koromon: Pokemon? What's a Pokemon? I'm a Digimon.
Ash: Huh? What!? Wait a second I have to find Pikachu. (calls Pikachu's name) Pikachu! Pikachu! (Ash walks off.)
Koromon: Hey! Wait a minute I'm your partner.
Ash: huh? Pikachu! Pikachu!
Meowth: If Pikachu doesn't hear you now it must still be unconsious.
Ash: Meowth, and... what pokemon is that? (takes out dexter again)
Dexter: Pokemon unknown.
Motimon: Pokemon? I don't know what a pokemon is, but I'm a digimon and my name is Motimon.
Meowth: Well, Motimon I'm a pokemon, and how come you ain't?
Ash: Pikachu! Pikachu!
Meowth: Would you keep it down? That electric rat probably isn't coming, and I'm trying to figure something out over here.
Ash: Pikachu!
Pikachu: Pik-ah!
Ash: Oh, Pikachu!
Pikachu appears: Pi pi pi, Pikachu.
Ash: Pikachu I thought I had lost you buddy.
Pikachu: "Pika pi, Pikachu"
Motimon: Does it speak another language or something? Why does it keep saying pi and pika?
Koromon: No fair! I'm your digimon. You can't have two!
Meowth: Well I guess I'm the only one who can translate here.
Ash (to Koromon): Why is there a law or something?
Motimon: So it is another languagh, what does it mean?
Kormon: But I'm your partner.
Ash: Hold on, Pikachu's a pokemon. I don't know anything about digimon, but Pikachu's my friend.
Koromon: Hey I'm your friend too
Meowth: Why do I have to use my talent? (pause) It said....
Motimon: Hey if both of you are Pokemon then why can we understand you and not him?
Meowth: Because I'm special, that's why.
Ash: Most Pokemon can only say their name, but for some reason Meowth can talk. Why is that anyway?
Meowth: Like I'll tell you, why do I care anyway?
Pikachu: Pika pika Pika!
Meowth: huh, ok fine, it's like this see.... ... ... .................... ....
Ash: And Meowsie dumped you because you accomplished your goal? Wow. That's a sad but amazing story.
Meowth: You bet it is.
Motimon: So does that mean we wouldn't be able to understand you if you hadn't done all that?
Koromon: Nevermind that! (Kuwagamon makes some noise) We got a giant bug flying at us lets get out of here!
Pikachu: Pikachu Pika piKa!
Ash: Oh right, uh what's your name again?
Koromon: Koromon. "It means brave little warrior and don't you forget it," Ash. Oh, and it's obvious that Pikachu's not a digion 'cause' it's name doesn't end in 'mon.'
Meowth: Quit your yapping and keep running. (a few moments later) Oh no, we're at a dead end!
Motimon: No we're not. "It's a honey tree silly." Just follow me.
Ash: uh...ok
They all get inside the hunny tree and wait until Kuwagamon passes over and all is silent.
Misty: I see you Ash, what are you doing in there? You look like you're hiding from something.
Ash: uh we kinda were, but it's nothing now.
Yokomon: Hello, nice to meet you, friends of Misty
Misty: I tried to get it inside it's pokeball, but it didn't work. It claims to be a digimon. (seeing motimon) Oh hey, how cute.
Motimon: "Allow me to introduce myself my name is Motimon."
Koromon: And I'm Ash's partner Koromon.
Misty: They both can talk? (to Meowth) So Meowth, how does it feel to not be the only Pokemon who can talk?
Meowth: Hey! I still am!
Ash: Yeah. (pause) These guys are Digimon not Pokemon, Misty.
Misty: But I've never heard of Digimon before. What's the difference? uh besides that they can talk?
Meowth: Hey!
Ash: It was nothing against you Meowth.
Misty: huh, (sarcarsticly) ge Ash since when did you and Meowth become such good friends?
Ash: uhhhh (Ash is speechless for a moment) huh? It's Gary!
Gary: "yeah it's me." Hi-ya Ash, got this guy, but he won't fit into a pokeball.
Misty: "yeah. I noticed. Same with mine."
Tsunomon: Hello, my name is Tsunomon.
Ash(jealous): so Gary got one too. No fair.
Misty: Take it easy Ash. (pause) huh, I wonder why all their names end in 'mon.'
James interrupts: Oh no. It's the twirps. (He's sees them look at him and the Tokomon that's in his arms and speaks louder) He's mine and you can't take him from me! (starts to run away)
Gary: huh, what's with that guy?
Meowth: Hey! James! Come back here!
James (turns around): Meowth?! Where's Jessie? and why are you with the twirps?
Brock appears running toword them with Bukamon on his shoulders from the side diagonal from behind where Misty was standing. He sees Ash, Misty, Gary, Meowth and the four digimon grouped together with James and Tokomon a little farther away. Everyone's attention shifted to Brock, as Misty heard foot steps and turned around.
Brock: Hey! What's going on? Did I miss something?
Before anyone could answer, Jessie comes running from a Kuwagamon (the same one as before) with Tanemon running by her side.
Meowth (loudly): There's Jessie.
Brock: But what's that behind her?
Misty: Oh no, don't tell me there are giant bug digimon here too.
Brock: What?
Motimon: That is definitely one seriously bad Digimon.
Ash: Bad digimon? There is such a thing?
Misty: Who cares?! Let's get out of here!
They all go running and then Gary takes a stand. Gary: Go Arcannine! Flamethrower at that bug, now.
Tsunomon: hey, what about me?
Gary gets distracted by what Tsunomon said and glances down at Tsunomon for a second. Gary:huh?
Then he looks back at Arcanine, in time to see it connect a dirrect hit with Flamethrower to Kuwagamon. However the hit appears to have delt no dammage. Gary: What's up with that?
Misty: Yeah why didn't it work?
Ash: I know! Gary's Arcanine is weak because he has a weak trainer.
Misty sighs: Ash, someday you need to learn when to keep your mouth closed.
Gary: Alright Ash! You try zapping it with your Pikachu.
Ash: Fine! I will! Pikachu, Thunderbolt now!
Pikachu: Pik-a-chuuu!
Pikachu's Thunderbolt connects but does nothing. Gary smiles: See?
Bukamon: Boy, he sure does put out a lot of energy when he sneezes.
Yokomon: Yeah, I wonder what he was going to say anyway.
Ash: huh, that's just his name.
Tanemon: What is that supposed to mean?
Jessie: Nevermind
Misty: Look! The giant bug is returning.
Brock: Well, Pokemon attacks must not work on them, so I guess the only alternative is to run.
Misty: I'm all for that
Koromon: Wait.
Everyone's attention quickly turns to Koromon. Koromon: We stay and fight.
Ash: You guys fight?
Yokomon: Yea it's the only way.
Misty: Well, if you're sure you can handle it.
Ash: Well then, go Koromon!
Gary: You too Tsunomon!
Meowth: You three Motimon!
Everyone looks at Meowth. Jessie: No way! You mean Meowth has one too?!
Meowth: Yeah, you got a problem with that!?
Brock: That's just weird
All the intraining digimon join in the fight. Then beams of light come over them. Jessie: What's happening?
Ash: Could it be?
Gary: It is.
Brock: They all evolved at once
Misty: Unbelievable
The rookies all attack at once, and when Kuwagamon seems to be defeated they all relax.
(Seeing that his digimon digivolved too) Meowth: See!? Jus' 'cause I'm a Pokemon doesn't mean nothin'!
Ash: So I guess there are no rules on battling in this world.
Agumon: Rules?
Misty: Ash, that was real danger; There are no rules.
James: Better not look now, 'cause the danger's coming back
Ash: What?!
They happen to be standing on the ledge the digidestined were on at the end of the very first episode of Digimon. Kuwagamon appears and does what he did in that episode, digging into the ground and separating the ledge from the main body of land. They all start to fall and a 'To Be Continued' message comes up. Only I'm not continuing it (unless I change my mind in December 2003 or later).
Narrator Ash: And so we're falling "never to see each other again? I don't think so," but find out next time on the next Digimon Poketal Monsters.
Narrator Ash: Oh wait. I said it wrong.
