Bad times ahead. It is fine to have a half yearly announcement saying "guys well we have nothing new to show you guys except all the failed efforts of making our last thing more popular". It is the gamble we take when we start hoping that every time the guy shows his face in public he will pull something out of the hat. Unfortunately there is something that can be seen from Apple's show at the macworld today. He really should make the iphone more universally vailable and not tie it to a service. It might be a better deal in the short term but clearly in the long term peple are best served by giving them the product directly. For instance they were told the clear hard truth by China Mobile that nowhere except the US can network companies bleed customers dry.
