I have always tried to short Apple stock seeing that they sell a product at higher prices than their competition and economics says that's a bad thing. It also says that its a bad thing if and only if the competition is a replacement. Microsoft windows does not come anywhere close to the user friendliness and work environment of Apple. Programming and office work wise I think Linux is probably better than MacOS X. But for a combined experience Apple rules. It takes learning since almost nobody around you knows how to use an Apple. But once you are comfortable with "so there is no right click but a control click" ( which by the way is ergonomically much better on a laptop ), etc, you'll love an Apple. For all the people who are long Nasdaq indexed funds, short Microsoft !
