Who am I? Where am I? What am I? I am ready to be.... Mewtwo awakens in a labratory watching the scientists who have just given birth to it. Suddenly, Mewtwo's brain waves start to surge, forcing it to break out of the glass it was kept in. "Quiet. Let us hear it's pychic powers. Mewtwo learns that it is a clone, a bio-engineered Pokemon cloned from Mew, the rarest and strongest Pokemon. It also learns that it is stronger than any living Pokemon. It gets angered because it's creators do not care for it, so it decides to be independent. It destroys the lab, while Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket watches from his helicoptor above. Mewtwo was created by these scientists for Giovanni. Giovanni lands and speaks with Mewtwo. "Those fools thought you were a science experiment. But, I, I see you as a valuable partner." He tells Mewtwo that he knows a way to make it invinsible. At Giovanni's lab, Giovanni gives Mewtwo special armor which focuses it's power. After Giovanni pits Mewwo against other Pokemon, Mewtwo still doesn't get its purpose for being, why Mewtwo's here. "To serve your master. You were created to fight for me. That is your purpose." Giovanni tells an angry Mewtwo. Mewtwo destroys Giovanni's lab and flies out deciding to stand alone and destroy the world. The scene switches to Ash is lying his head on a table, claiming to be to weak to work, while Brock makes lunch. A strange trainer comes along and asks Ash if he knows a guy named Ash from Pallet Town. Ash fights the guy, beating the stuffin' outta him. Above, a Fearow watches with an attached camera on its neck. The images from the camera appear in a large control room type thing where a woman in a long gown waits for orders from her "master" who is sitting in a large chair. "Shall I extend an invitation to these trainers as well?" she asks. No answer. "As you wish." she replies. Suddenly a Dragonite carrying a handbag flies out of a tower. The Dragonite flies down to where the gang is having lunch. It pulls out a card which projects the image of the woman. She delivers a message saying that Ash has been picked to join a select group of Pokemon trainers at New Island. There he will meet and be challenged by the World's Greatest Pokemon Master. They decide to go. Back at the control room at New Island, Mewtwo creates a storm using its amazing psychic powers. Ash and co. get to the harbor where they take the boat to the island, but all are soaking wet. But the Harbormaster thinks that the storm is too dangerous for them to sail. Then Officer Jenny states that there is a Nurse Joy missing from the Pokemon Center, while Brock looks at the picture. "She sure looks familar." A few go to the island anyway using their Pokemon. Ash tries to go, but then realize that their Pokemon couldn't handle the storm. Then 2 vikings appear in a long but small boat. Ash and co. hop in and the vikings take them part way until a wave hits the boat and washes off the costumes revealing...Team Rocket?!?! (Who would've thought?) The whole party on the boat gets thrown into the water by another wave. The gang get their water Pokemon out and swim the rest of the way to the New Island's dock where they are greeted by the woman in the gown. Ash presents the invitation and Brock says that he knew he remembered her. "Aren't you the nurse who's missing from the Pokemon Center?" She denies it. Team Rocket then appears in the water floating on Weezing out of Ash and co.'s view. They follow her inside a huge castle like thing where they see that only 3 of the 50+ trainers made it. She tells them to release their Pokemon and join the others. Then Mewtwo decides to make its apearance. Outside Team Rocket watches as the huge (computer generated!) stone doors close, locking them out. Jessy decides to "crash the party" anyway by going through the sewer/pipeline. Back inside Mewtwo lands on a platform, while the woman in the gown presents Mewtwo as a Pokemon Master and the world's Strongest Pokemon. One of the trainers is outraged and uses his Gyrados' Hyper Beam to defeat Mwtwo. Mewtwo shows off its powers by deflecting the attack, and directing it back at Gyrados. Mewtwo also shows how it is psychic, and suddenly realeses the robed woman from her state of hypnotism. As Brock suspeted, she was the missing Nurse Joy. Mewtwo then makes a speech telling the trainers of its plans to destroy the world, and of its ability to create enhanced clones of any living Pokemon, a process similar to what created Mewtwo. Ash challenges Mewtwo to prove that its "super-Pokemon" are really as powerful as it says they are. Again back to Team Rocket. They travel down a pipe and reach a manhole, while Mew is secretly following them the whole time. They go throgh it and travel down a hallway and enter a room containing Mewtwo's Pokemon clone machine. 3 of Mewtwo's super-Pokemon are being held in tubes. They are Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard. Jessy accidentally activates the machine, playing a movie that the scientist in charge of creating Mewtwo made before he was killed. Suddenly the 3 clones awaken, come out of their tanks and out the door, where they appear in.... ...Mewtwo's stadium. It seemed like Mewtwo planned the battle all along. One of the trainers' Venusar battle's Mewtwo's, but lost. Another trainers' Blastoise battles Mewtwo's and loses. Then Ash's Charizard battle's Mewtwo's and it loses as well. Mewtwo takes its prize as the victor: everyones Pokemon. They all try to escape, but every Pokemon all of the trainers had gets capured by Mewtwo's specially designed Pokeballs. Pikachu stays uncapured by Mewtwo's Pokeballs the longest, but it too gets captured. Ash can't live to see his Pikachu get Poke-napped, so he pursues the Pokeball that Pikachu is in until it gets taken down a tunnel into the room where Team Rocket is in. All of the Pokemon get cloned, including Pikachu, while Ash destroys the machine in the process of getting Pikachu back. |
