Hey You, Pikachu!

Hey You, Pikachu! is a new game realesed on the Nintendo 64. Currently it has only been released in Japan, but us here in the States are hoping for a release date late this year. But for you Brits, there have been problems. Everytime the British versions have been tested out, bugs have been found. So don't expect a date anytime soon, for the earliest could be the spring/summer of 2001.
The Japanese name for the game is "Pikachu Genki Dechu" translating to "Pikachu is feeling fine". It is a one player game supporting the Rumble Pak accessory.
In the game, you play a trainer who finds a Pikachu. You have to take care of it and make it feel welcome. How do you do that? Well, you don't use a contoller in this game, but you use a microphone built into the game which can recognize your voice and tone. The way you talk to it can define its attitude. Meaning that you can curse and yell at it...but doing so won't get it very happy.
Pikachu has been programmed to respond differently to every different things you say to it. Prasing it will make it happy and it might squeal. Cursing at it will get it angry and might tempt it to shock you.
You also are propted to feed it and groom it.
This game is basicaly a virtual pet in 3D. Look for it soon later this year!
