STAGE SKIP

While playing your game, press Start to pause. Now, press A, B, X, A. Then, press A and X, B and X, B and X, A and X. After about five seconds, you will skip to the end of the stage. You can use this repeatedly to get to the end of the game.

SHINY CODE

At any time during the game, press Start to pause. Then, simultaneously press and hold Left and A. Release them after about a second, and then press B, X, A, A, B, X, A and Start. This present four options:

1. Cheat Mode -- Never take a hit.
2. Start Level -- Stage select.
3. Freezeability -- Pause the game without the screen going dark.
4. Map View -- See the entire level before you begin.

OLD CHEAT CODE

While playing the game, press Start to pause the game. Then press Y, A, B, B, A, Y, A, B, B, A. This will show you a picture of one of the programmers (Nick Jones) who tells you that this is the old cheat code. The game then resets.

EXTRA CONTINUES

While playing the game, press Start to pause. While the game is paused, press A, B, A, B, X, Y, X, Y. You won't notice anything has happened until you lose all of your lives. Then you will be on the continue screen and have one extra can of worms. This code can be used once per stage.

MORE AMMUNITION

While playing the game, press Start to pause. While the game is paused, press A, B, then B and L together, then B, X, A, X, X. After you unpause, shoot the gun once and you will have 1000 rounds of ammunition for your gun. This code can be used more than once per stage.

8 PLASMA SHOTS

While playing the game, press Start to pause. While the game is paused, press A, A, then B and L together, then A, A, X, then B and L together, then X. After you unpause, shoot the gun once and you will have the Plasma Shots. This code can be used once per stage.

EXTRA LIVES

While playing the game, press Start to pause. While the game is paused, press B, B, A, then X and Y together, then A, A, A, A. After you unpause, you will gain one extra life. This code can be used once per stage.
