SIDDHPEETH BECOMES A TRUST - Jan 02

This is a good news that Gayatri Siddhpeeth has become a trust now. Appropriate papers have been filed with the authorities in the month of November, 2001 in India for it.

COLLEGE - Jan 02

College building was almost ready for starting the classes. Requirements of depositing the money as security, university fees etc. and other formalities as demanded by the Kanpur University to get it affiliated with the University have been met. the classes will start soon - maybe in this September, 2002 leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and bachelor of science.

VASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATIONS AT THE ASHRAM - Jan 02

This year Vasant Panchami falls on February 17. Like previous years, this festival will last for four days starting from 14th with "Ram-Archa" pooja which goes for four hours. After the pooja, Ram Charit Manas' Akhand-Recitation will start with Poorn-aahuti on the 17th.

Also from the February 15, Gayatri Havan will start with its Poorn-ahuti on 17th.

BHAAGVAT KATHA - Jan 02

Bhaagvat Katha will start at the Ashram from February 10, with Poorn-Aahuti on 16th. This will be done by the famous Katha-Vaachak Pundit Paras from Vrindavan, India.
