I usually know of quality puppies available to the right homes so even when I haven't any myself I can pass you on to another reputable breeder. 

Vegas has mated a bitch, Maisie, and puppies are due in October. (Nine expected)

Bramble  (Black Labrador) has been mated to Pat Taft's Barweston Apollo of Staftly (FTW) (Yellow) and puppies are hoped for in November.

Shows are back! 

Gaytonwood Daydreamer (Daley) went to his first two shows this weekend (08 09 01) and was awarded a 1st, 2nd and a 4th! Well done Daley.

Gaytonwood Dazzler (Dazzle) has been consistently placed since she started showing. Her awards at Championship Shows so far have been:

2nd in Minor Puppy at East of England Championship Show and 4th in Puppy. Judge Jean Taylor (Olyjen) Gaytonwood Victoria of Southernhay won her Graduate class at the same show.  
2nd in Minor Puppy and 4th in Puppy at Bournemouth Championship Show. Judge Hilary Lambshead (Muskan)
She excelled herself at Welsh Kennel Club and won Minor Puppy and gained 5th in Puppy!! (Judge Pauline Bevis (Starlance))
At Darlington she was 5th in MP. (Judge Dr Ruth Barber)
At Eastern Counties Golden Retriever Championship show she gained a 3rd in MPB and a fifth in Puppy bitch. (Judge Mrs HC Murray (Gayplume))
Gundog Society of Wales saw her awarded 4th in Minor Puppy Bitch. (Judge Mrs H James (Jamescroft)) Gaytonwood Victoria of Southernhay also won her class that day and Rostherne Island Breeze (a Dexter daughter) won 5th in a very strong Junior Bitch Class.

Last years successes included:-

On Sunday 10th December 2000 Dexter's latest progeny had a lovely day at The Potteries Open Show. Rostherne Hudson Bay via Torcasa (Hudson) owned by Stacey McCartney won Best Puppy in Breed and his litter sister Rostherne Island Breeze owned by breeder Eilish King was second in Puppy Bitch. Good luck to you both in 2001. 
 On Wednesday 19th July at East of England Championship Show, Vegas won his Class.  Thank you Mrs. Ruth Weightman.
On Sunday 23rd July Vegas was 3rd at Leeds.  Thank you Mrs. M Hibbs. 

More good news! 

At Matlock and District Canine Society Open Show (Sunday 13th August) Vegas won Open Dog, Best of Breed and then Reserve Best In Show. Thank you to the judges Mrs J Mason-Minns (Breed) and Mr Peter Swigciski (Best in Show).
Vegas' daughter Tanna (Megwoodie Tradition) was placed 3rd in her first Minor Puppy class on 01 10 00 at Wellingborough and District's Open Show.  Judge Mr A. Scott.
Vegas was awarded 4th in Post Graduate at Driffield Championship Show.  Judge Mr G Talbot.
