If they had advertised that it was free to get in, maybe more people would have turned up! To be fair though it wasn’t worth travelling far for, it was a turgid scrappy affair and was settled by one goal on 26 mins. A low cross from the left caught Bromley’s defence out and was tapped in from 6 yards. The Ravens were guilty of overplaying with little end product for their hard work and Dartford were workmanlike, but un-spectacular. I’m not sure what anybody learnt from this one apart from it was very cold. Quote for the game, ‘I’m missing ‘Footballers Wives’ for this!’
