F****in’ hell!! A great display from The Ravens in defeating a Premier Division side at The Nest. The whole team put in an awesome performance from 1-11 and richly deserved their place in the next round of the league cup. Bartley opened the score on 12mins when he glanced a header in from a corner. From then on Bromley looked by far the stronger side and Bartley went close again soon after when his sharp turn and shot from the edge of the box went just wide. In the second half Billericay had the occasional chance, but once again The Ravens had the better of the game with Watts giving the Visitors defence a torrid time. Drewitt hit the bar connecting to a Watts cross and Bartley once again hit a great effort just wide from outside the box. Harwood richly deserved his clean sheet as did the whole defence, who kept Simba and Opara quiet. The clincher came on 85mins when Drewitt worked his way thru and drew the keeper before sliding the ball under him and into the net. A truly great result.
