01 - Saturn In Crosshairs - Don't really know what to make of this. The guitar is nice, the lyrics are as wonderful as I've come to expect from Chris and Chuck, but why oh why do we need the screamy vocals. To me it just sounds out of place on this song and a little more subtlety is required. To be fair though they do calm down a bit towards the end of the song.

02 - Cursing Concrete - Easily the better of the two songs. This definitely saves the 7". The vocal style works perfectly here too with some beautiful triple harmonies during the choruses. A little gasp escapes me when Chuck sings "I'll walk back again" and Chris just comes in "BACK again" in THAT familiar way. Wonderful.

Ok, let's re-visit this - it's the 23rd of May 2002 and reading the above review of track 1, "Saturn In Crosshairs", I've come to the conclusion that I must have been on some kind of drug at the time. I've just listened to the song now and it's fantastic. Just as good as Cursing Concrete. It's amazing what time and memories can do to music...
