The following are department patches that the Peace Officer Association resells to civilian individuals.
The police uniform and patch have undergone several changes since the department was formed. From green pants and tan shirts, to the now traditional dark blue police uniform, the original Grover City Police patch was brown and depicted a beach scene. The patch was later changed to blue and it kept the same scene as before.
The new Grover Beach patch was issued in 1993. It reflected the recent name change of the city. In 1995 the Grover Beach patch was again redesigned where it featured the setting sun on the Pacific Ocean and Grover Beach. The patch also has an eagle at its top and the California Poppy at the bottom. The Grover Beach Police Officer's Association took over control for the design, purchasing and supplying of the police patch in 1995. The G.B.P.O.A. is now offering the patch to the public for sale. The patch has never been offered for sale before, and the patch has never been given away to anyone (including law enforcement) due to past directives by former Chiefs.
Currently the Grover Beach Police Patch sells for $6.00 (American Currency).
Currently the Grover Beach Police Association Sticker sells for $2.00 (American Currency).
