Name Q
Background - His first appearance was when Captain Picard had just recieved his new assignment as Captain of the Enterprise-D and the ship was on it's way to Farpoint Station. Picard had to prove to Q that the humans were no longer a savage race.
After that, Q made an appearance to Picard every year and other Star Fleet vessels as well. He even made a couple appearances to Deep Space and the U.S.S. Voyager. Q even made the Enterprise do Warp 9.9 and end up in the Delta Quadrant where they met the Borg and after that the Borg started traveling to the Alpha Quadrant.
