| Background - Chakotay was once a Star Fleet officer but he quit Star Fleet and became a member of the Maquis. While in the Bad Lands, his ship was transported through a wormhole of somekind and was taken to the Delta Quadrand where he met Janeway who was sent after him to find out what happened to him and his crew. He helped destroyed the Array, which was what transported them all to the Delta Quadrant by blowing up his ship. He made an agreement with Janeway to make everyone all a Star Fleet crew. She restated him as Commander of Voyager. Near the time of getting home he started having feelings for Seven of Nine. He did have feelings for Janeway. He's the only person who can call Janeway by her real name in private. |
