| Voyager arrived in the Delta Quadrant. After Janeway met Neelix and helped rescue Kes, Kes helped Janeway to retrieve two crew members from her people and get out from the underground. Kes is the first and only Ocampan who went to the surface. Kes and Neelix were allowed to stay onboard Voyager and became important people on the ship. Kes helped the doctor to reprogram him and became his nurse/assistant. She spent her first birthday on Voyager. Ocampans life span is usually nine years. Neelix and Kes were a couple. Kes turned Cargo Bay two into a Hydropontics Bay. A room to grow plants and natural medicine. The plants were used for Neelix's food. Later Cargo Bay became Seven of Nine's quarters. |
