As I promised, this week's section of gab took Me to Port Kar to interview one of the Free Women there, Gwyneth. Beach side vistas, wonderful seafood, and fabulous service greeted Me, but that's an entirely different article altogether.

So, read on as I sit back and write, picking the sand from My Tarn's feathers, tending My sunburns, and wondering where that slave learned to mix a Pina Colada (just kidding ~wink~).

Dalanar: OK, first question, how do You feel about the Port and the Inn as it currently is?

Gwyneth: oh dear giggles..let Me think a moment...

Dalanar: *nods*

Gwyneth: Well Port and the Inn are My Home and have been privileged to be part of such a fine and upstanding Home...I arrived in Port a little over a few months ago and have come to Love the People. Like every Home it has its ups and downs.. but when the downs arrive E/everyone works together... As well I love Port as it is so close to the Thassa...

Dalanar: *nods* Damn good answer...Let me think...What do you think of the job KEATS is doing as Ubar?

Gwyneth: giggles thinking these are hard questions......

hmm Keats as an Ubar...well...Keats has My utmost respect honor and commitment as a Member of His City...He has never given a reason to disbelieve that He is a hard but fair Man Who definitely lives for Port Kar and for the People of Port...

Dalanar: *nods and takes notes* Ok, Sis...I'll try not to grill you with too many more *chuckles* What do you feel about Sten as Your FC?

Gwyneth: laffing ohh You are terrible..giggles...

Sten as My FC...well how should an FW feel about Her FM?...He is a Man of great honor..I feel very honored and proud to be His FC...very honored to be apart of His life...I respect Him greatly and adore Him...blushes

Dalanar: *smiles* That's so sweet...one last question and I'll let you off the hook *wink* What do You think of Your role as a Free Woman in Your City?

Gwyneth: ohh and add that He is tolerant and patient...more so than any Man I know...chuckles for I am sure there are days where I drive Him crazy...giggles

Gwyneth: ohh I like that question...You know being a FW is very difficult...I have had people ask Me if I am crazy to be a FW...sometimes I wonder Myself...I know I am not the most perfect and that I make a lot of mistakes..but I beleive that My role as a FW in Port is to try to set an example as a good Gorean...not just as a FW..as I said I make mistakes...but I try to help those that are new to understand the rules and the roles of a Gorean Woman....it is important to Me to show that hard work and effort and honest giving to Your Home can be far more rewarding than ummmm..blushes some other type of err non positive antic...

Now these answers say much about this Lady. She serves Her FC, Her City and Her Ubar with Honor and Fidelity. As a Free Woman should be, She is demur and loyal, but with love and a firm will underneath. Every time I have visited the Port of the Inn, She has been courteous, friendly and witty. She has even offered Me service when slaves were not available, bringing Honor to Herself and Her Hone.

Now, for some more insight into this wonderful Woman...Free Woman abroad!

Gwyneth has visited Turia on several occasions, always with escort and always an excellent guest. She has always treated A/all of My City with respect, deferring to Myself, of course, and Sten, Her FC and escort. Sten is a lucky Man as Gwyneth has a good handle on the ins and outs of the Gorean Woman life.
