Seems the clouds have finally rolled out of Kassar, leaving nothing but sunshine. We are preparing for the season change though. Master Ubar has us preparing the wagons, caulking to make them weather proof, and making sure the axles are well greased. We will also need to stretch the hides back over the lodge before long so we have an inside gathering area.

Seems the botas are leaking left and right in the servery lately, keeping us all on our toes. Many times the contents have been salvaged and put into fresh botas. Now there are many botas waiting repair in the storage wagon.

Our beautiful plains have lent to more successful hunts this week, dangerous as they are. Masters Eldarion and Framan both brought down a tabuk. sisters dressed the meat and stored it for future use. Hunting will be increasing as the seasons begin to change to assure Kassar has plenty to see it through the winter months.

Master Eldarion also secured a lucrative deal on Monday night, trading four wagon loads of coal and iron for 20 of His shortswords. That ore and coal will keep Him busy for a LONG time. Being the Kassar Weaponsmith, if any are in need of weapons, Master Eldarion is the man to see.

We welcomed home two new FW this week. Mistress Allie and Mistress Avileandra both joined Kassar.

We also welcome two new slaves to Kassar. One was found wandering the plains, dangerous as the plains are. she is now safe in Kassar.

Somehow, Mistress Mechelena's sleen, Apaka, made a disappearing act the other day and found Master Ubar's boat door ajar. He slinked inside and made off with one of Master's boots. Mistress had a slave repair the boot, but Master Trakar put it on and was suddenly modeling the latest in Gorean sandalwear. Mistress Mechelena has offered to buy Him a new pair.

Ubar has also implemented a new lesson into the training manual that will cover medical knowledge for slaves of Kassar. There are no longer healers aides. All slaves training in Kassar will now be trained in the medical serve as well. Ubar's positive changes in the training system also had Him now appointing the training tags back to those slaves He felt deserved them.
