may i serve?

Gorean slavery is categorical and absolute. The slave is property, an animal. She is incapable of doing anything to alter, change or affect her status. She is owned by the master, and owes him all. She can be bought and sold. She must serve with perfection." (Renegades of Gor, pg 386)

totally owned

What does that mean for a slave? A very short, seemingly simple, question, but not so very simple to answer as this girl quickly learned when her Master assigned the task of writing on the subject as part of a lesson. she began with Websters and found the following definitions:

  • total -- entire; absolute; utter; whole
  • own -- to have or hold as property; possess; to have power over; control
Being totally owned means she has made her one choice, that being to submit to her Master. After that she has no choices, she simply obeys in all the things. she may be allowed to express opinions or preferences, but all decisons belong to Him.

Being totally owned means she pushes herself to do the things He asks of her, even when His reasoning escapes her or if sometimes those tasks seem impossible. she does not pick and choose when she will obey or what commands she will accept. she must learn to obey in any circumstance, even anger or hurt, or when it is not easy or fun.

He was a Gorean master. I was at his mercy. I wondered if I could have felt so much his, so completely surrendered, if he had not possessed this complete power over my life and body. I belonged to him. But I did not want him to whip me, or put me in the slave box. I wanted only, desperately, to please him. And I knew I must, for I was his slave. (Captive of Gor, pg 343)

A Gorean slave is shown no mercies or concessions; her slavery is absolute. There are no conditions, no "ifs." she adapts her existence to please Him. His slightest whim is her command. His happiness, His wishes, His needs, His pleasures are paramount. she has no wants beyond pleasing Him. The fundamental need to please Him is overwhelming; she needs to please and serve as much as she needs air to breathe.

her trust in Him is absolute. she has literally placed her life in His hands, trusting that He will provide those things she needs even though she, herself, may be unaware of those needs. Being totally owned means the only limits she will have are His whims. she is a slave in all things; her every thought, word or deed is molded to please Him. While being allowed to serve Him in the furs may bring her to unimaginable heights of physical pleasure, it is but one small aspect of being totally owned.

Eventually, of course a woman learns that to please a man on his own terms is the only thing that can, ultimately, fulfill her own deepest needs, those of the owned, submitting love slave. (Explorers of Gor, pg 39)
Being totally owned means that those three words, "I am pleased" or "you please Me," bring her joy and fulfillment. Earning those words of praise from Him is what she strives for; what she lives for.
