Mistress Mechelena did a little hunting of Her own, successfully bagging nine baby turmits. She has them secured as She is waiting for the cages to be finished. This is a wonderful addition to the camp as they will be raised and sold for profit.

We have a race coming up, on the plains! On Sunday, Kassar slaves will match speed against the slaves of Port Kar. There will be a huge feast and prizes for the winning slave. Mistress Avileandra has skillfully provided the prizes. With all the excitement of the coming race, slaves of Kassar are running around, grinding grain, picking berries, gathering eggs and filling dung sacks. Much to do, so little time!

Much wood has been gathered lately, both for trade and for the upcoming race event and also to assure that a welcoming fire is always burning in our beloved Kassar home.

Master Eldarion, Kassar weaponsmith, was busy this week. He has completed an arrowhead mold. Now He can make 12 arrowheads in one sitting, cutting the time-consuming chore down considerably.

We welcome home a member of Kassar. His long and memorable journey on the plains brings Him Home to Kassar once more. A heartfelt welcome home to Master Lord Drago and His slave.

We celebrated a birthday this week in Kassar. Master Damien had a wonderful time sharing His birthday swats with beauty, kireina and klynne. One thing about having a birthday and being a Master, you always have someone else's butt to swat!

With all the cooking and storing going on in the servery these days, we have had many a food found burning. Disaster has been avoided each time thankfully, due to the quick actions of many.

Weather in Kassar has been beautiful this week, just a slight nip in the morning air. You can almost smell the seasons changing. The people of Kassar are working very hard to assure they have plenty of food and wood and furs, stored and ready for the upcoming winter, should it prove to be a hard one. This slave knows she belongs to the hardest working and loving people.
