We do not choose our Masters nor is it up to us, whether or not we will please them, or to what degree. We must strive to be perfection always, for anyone. That is part of what is to be a slave. In reconciling myself to bondage I had, also, to reconcile myself to this condition, it is a part of bondage. It is something which the slave must accept. Without it there can be no true slavery. I had accepted this condition, at least theoretically, verbally acknowledging its incumbency on me, in my training. Somehow, interestingly, this acceptance too, seemed liberating to me, it made my bondage much more real to me. Too, interestingly, in its way, it also made it seem much more precious to me. (Dancer of Gor, pg 92)

what are you?

Regardless of her experience, her years of service on Gor or her training, a slave will fit into one of three basic groups. It is her behavior, her actions, that determine the calibre of slave that she is and what category she falls in. Ultimately, it is her need to please, the desire that burns in her belly, that leaves her no choice but to strive for perfection in her service.

The first type is the princess. she is the girl that comes and goes as she pleases in her homestone. Often, she will appear only after her Owner or certain favorite Masters appear on the wholist of her home. her attitude is apparent in all that she does. she does not bother to interact beyond the bare minimum with her sisters. she never really settles in and finds her place. she is too busy looking for ways to get out of chores or serving Anyone other than certain Masters to really learn or grow and often appears petulant and pouty. The attitude, her "what's in it for me" thinking, robs her of the real experience of being on Gor and serving.

The second type is the slave. she serves and pleases and is in general an asset to her home and a credit to her kolar. But, and this is a big but, when her Master is not in the room, she tends to think that the rules do not apply to her. she may become disruptive and bratty or flaunt the rules. she may decide that she is free to travel around taking on other names and acting out in that way because her Master will never know. What she forgets is that online Gor is actually a very small world.

The third type is the kajira. This girl is the ultimate slave. she has truly found the meaning of Gor and serves selflessly and completely at all times. she has taken her training to heart and truly lives the role. she knows that her every thought, word and action reflects upon her Master and her home. her behavior does not vary according to whether or not her Master is around. Everything she does goes through what this girl refers to as the "Master filter." she will always ask herself, "if my Master were watching, would He be pleased?" her attitude is what distinguishes a kajira as a cut above the rest.

Goreans are not men of Earth, I said. They will have what they truly want from a woman, everything. (Beasts of Gor, pg 230)
Most of what a girl is truly must come from within, training can mold and shape a slave, but it is her attitude and her Master's expectations that are the final determination. A wise Master once said to this girl,
"You get what You demand from a slave. she will always live up or down to the Master's standards."
