When Worlds Collide
Chapter 7
By: Bella
Benji and Tristen decided to stay at the same hotel/casino that they had met in as well as had their first date, Mandalay Bay. They had just gotten married in true Las Vegas fashion, which meant that they were married by "Elvis." Because both Benji and Tristen were insistent upon marrying at the same chapel that they had become "engaged" in front of, as well as having the ceremony officiated by an Elvis impersonator, they had to go to great lengths to make it happen because there was not an Elvis impersonator present at that chapel. After much searching and bribing, they were finally married at 11:58pm that same day, but not after swearing everyone working at the chapel, as well as "Elvis," to secrecy.
Each had called their respective bandmates to tell them that they wouldn't be joining them until the next day at the concert. Members of both bands were surprised and confused, but after long talks (and jaded explanations), they were finally ready to check into their room and "make their marriage official," as Benji mentioned constantly on the way with an evil grin and immature giddiness that could only be coming from a male on his wedding night.
"After you, Mrs. Madden," Benji said with a big grin as the elevator doors opened.
"Why thank you, Mr. Madden," Tristen giggled as she stepped out, grabbed Benji's hand, and yanked him out of the elevator. She kissed him and he began to return the kiss, but quickly pulled away.
"There will be plenty of time for that once we find our room."
They quickly found their room, which had cost them more than Tristen had won that evening, and he carried her into it and dropped her onto the bed.
"Hey!" she exclaimed, pretending to be pissed.
He laughed and jumped onto the bed as well, landing next to her. He began to kiss her, but this time she interrupted him.
"Be right back," she tried to say seductively, but ended up bursting into a fit of giggles afterward. This made him laugh and shake his head. She grabbed her purse and went into the bathroom. While she was in the bathroom, Benji ordered strawberries and champagne and offered a generous tip if they would arrive as soon as possible. The bribe worked, because it showed up before Tristen had even come out of the bathroom.
"What the hell are you doing in there? I miss you!" Benji whined from the other side of the door.
"Hold on, hold on," Tristen replied.
This made Benji start to sing "Hold On" in hopes that time would pass quicker. He continued singing as he walked over to the bed and began to sniff the pillow cases. He hated sleeping in hotel rooms, because he was always afraid that the bedding wasn't clean.
"Hoooold Oooon if you feel like ... wow," Benji lost his train of thought as Tristen stepped out of the bathroom. She had curled her long hair and pinned most of it up messily, as well as changed into a long, white nightgown with thin straps, a low neckline, and a beaded design around the chest.
"When did you get that?" Benji wondered.
"Remember when you called Joel and I told you I had to go to the bathroom?" she asked. He nodded. "I lied," she said with a smile.
"I'm glad you did," he grinned and she walked over to the bed. "Oh, I almost forgot your surprise!" he said excitedly as he ran into the other room and came back in carrying a tray with strawberries and champagne on it.
"Oh my gosh! This is so perfect," she said happily, looking over the goodies he had brought in, as well as noticing that he had lit some candles all around the room. He turned off the lights and they ate strawberries and drank champagne in the candlelight, never taking their eyes off of one another. After a while they grew tired of the strawberries and champagne though, and they soon began a heated make-out session. More and more of Benji's clothing was shed, and he began leaving a trail of kisses down her neck and to her shoulder. He then removed one strap of her nightgown with his mouth and began to lead the trail across her chest and to her other shoulder, but noticed something on the inside of her now exposed right breast. It looked like writing.
"What's that?" he asked, slipping the rest of her nightgown off of her breast with his fingers to get a good look at it. Upon examination, he discovered that it said "PUNK." He started cracking up.
"Oh, just look at the other one," she laughed with him as he removed the other strap from her shoulder, now revealing both of her breasts. They read "PUNK ROCK."
"Oh my god," he continued laughing. "That's fucking awesome."
"No, it's not!" she protested, still laughing. "I was drunk as fuck! I hardly remember a thing. All I remember is that Trevor and my friend Jill were telling me how awesome it would be and it seemed like a good idea at the time. I almost pissed myself when I woke up the next morning and saw it."
"It's beautiful," he said, kissing them.
"Hey Benj," Tristen said hesitantly.
"Hmm?" he asked, or groaned rather, while still kissing her.
"I've never… you know," she admitted.
"Never?" he asked, looking up at her.
"No…" she said, a bit embarrassed. "So I don't, you know, really know what to do." Now she was really embarrassed.
"Well, there's a first time for everything," he said.
"I love you, and I'm so glad that you're my wife."
"I love you too, and I'm so glad to be your wife."
