If there's one thing you'll get out of this issue, it's a whole lotta story. The panel count in here is enormous; there could easily be two issues within Wonder Woman #165. Actually, the number two comes up quite a bit: two Leaguers, two Titans, two oracles, two huntresses, and of course, the two entities which make up each of the three villains. Okay, so there's three of something, but only once.

Eris continues to look awkward holding her golden delicious apple all day - her arm must get really tired. I'm still glad to see that Pam continues to fight Eris' presence. In the past several years, Poison Ivy has gone from being a psychotic greenhouse to a compassionate nature-lover. She'd help Batman out, if only she could get the mental opportunity. Diana doesn't seem to realize that Pam didn't willingly become a host for Eris, but she's either too mixed up from the Joker juice, or she never really knew to begin with.

Call it willpower or divine intervention, Wonder Woman is one powerful gal. She resists one of the most deadly chemical concoctions known to Arkham, vanquishing the Joker's toxins from her system. Since the Joker gladly welcomed Deimos into his crazy skull, he has more leeway to create chaos than any of his peers. Deimos recognizes that true insanity is a force he can exploit.

This issue could've focused more exclusively on the relationship between Diana and Bruce, had Nightwing and Troia not shown up. And in Wonder Woman #166, the Areopagus will get even busier, as Wonder Girl and Robin join the fun.
