Plot: While hunting down Oracle, Blockbuster captures Nightwing and Nite-Wing, as Black Canary fends off Lady Vic and Brutale.

Remember the last time you were safely strapped onto an operating table, with a couple of torturers hovering over your not nearly numb enough body? Well, if you can imagine that, then you'll know exactly the kind of situation Nightwing was in, except that he might not have been quite as afraid as you were.

There were times when I found myself yelling at Dick to shut his big mouth, because it's not quite the brightest thing in the world to goad the crimelord who hates your guts, so that his sadotorturers can spill them for you.

Dick's not the only one who's in the hot seat - the blade-freak Brutale and Lady Vic are served a can of sonic cry, care of Black Canary. Even though Dinah seemed mighty unconscious in last month's Birds of Prey, she's never looked better here, perhaps because Greg Land feels right at home making her look as beautiful and dangerous as ever.

Mouse looks like a Catwoman rip-off, and Giz could easily have stepped out of an issue of Wildcats. Despite their appearance, it doesn't take long for them to catch Oracle's scent, so Babs better stay alert.
