Plot: While the Penguin tries to muscle in on Falcone territory, Jim Gordon assembles a squad of his finest cops to hunt down the Hangman.
It took me a while in the shop before I figured out that the guy on the cover wasn't the Mad Hatter. Don't know that I care much for Sale's Penguin in the interior. The initial shot of him on page 6 wasn't so bad, but after that, he looks inhuman.
Things continue to move along, after the push in Dark Victory #5. Now, we meet the rogue force of cops, and they not only want to take down the Hangman killer(s), but the five Families, and Batman, as well!
Jim said he's got someone on the inside of the Falcone organization. Janice? Maybe...but from the profile of Mario's partner on page 14, I'm thinking Mario is Jim's insider.
How about that two-page spread of the Joker and Two-Face! Scary, yet magnificent at the same time. What's even scarier is that Two-Face was able to brutalize the Joker.
Janice's comment about Gilda still being around must be a big red herring from Loeb - the writer, not the dead ex-commissioner.
