
And I heard the music, and this accent - unashamed, delectable - and figured, "Hey, this gal can sing!" I found her album a few days later, threw it in the player, and was positively floored. She was not Shelby Lynne. She was her sister. And Allison was better.
The emotion in her voice makes every sad song even sadder. I heard that right away from her first album, Alabama Song, and even more so through her latest effort, The Hardest Part. She's quickly become one of my favourite artists.
