September 26 - Fontbonne University showed why they are the favorites to win yet another SLIAC title this year as they cruised to a 3-set victory over host Greenville Friday night 30-23, 30-19, 30-14.   

The loss dropped Greenville to 2-2 in the conference and 4-6 overall. The Panthers will take a break from conference play when they travel to St. Louis to take on St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Monday. Greenville defeated STLCOP in three sets at the Rose-Hulman tournament earlier this year.
