October 1 - After dropping back-to-back matches last week, Greenville is back on track with their second win in a row following a 3-set sweep at Blackburn College on Wednesday 30-16, 30-18, 30-20.

Greenville jumped all over Blackburn early in the first set finishing with 15 kills and just two hitting errors - a .464 hitting percentage - as they rolled to a 30-16 win. They continued to hit successfully in the final two sets as they would finish the match with 45 kills and just 12 errors (.320 hitting percentage).

Michea McKay led the offensive attack with 14 kills on just 27 attempts and Megan Vandiver added 10 kills and 4 blocks. Heidi Woods had 7 kills and Kelly Kepley added 5.

The win evened G.C.'s record to 6-6 and moved them into a second place tie with Webster in the conference at 3-2.  Greenville will travel to St. Louis Saturday to take on Maryville University before returning home for back-to-back matches against St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Westminster next Tuesday and Wednesday.
