October 14 - After going six years without beating Webster, Greenville has won both matches against the Gorlocks this season following another three-set victory on Tuesday night at Webster -- 30-26, 30-26, 30-24. Not only was it the second consecutive victory over Webster, but it was also the sixth straight overall boosting Greenville's record to 10-6 on the season. "We are playing great volleyball right now," remarked Coach Tom Ackerman. "To come into their gym and win another game against Webster is quite an accomplishment."

Michea McKay led Greenville with 17 kills, and Julie Kaufmann was dominant all night on offense leading the team with 14 kills on 35 attempts, with just one error (.371 percentage). Megan Vandiver and Kelly Kepley each had 7 kills. McKay added 15 digs while Kelsey McPeak and Sarah Swanson had 12 and 11, respectively.

Greenville moved its season record to 10-6 overall and put some room between them and second place in the conference standings with a 6-2 record. Webster now stands in third place with a 5-4 conference mark. Greenville is back in action Thursday night at MacMurray.
