October 23 - Greenville continued to stay hot in conference play Wednesday night as they knocked off Principia College in four sets for their 7th consecutive SLIAC win. Greenville has won 8 of their last 9 overall. Following a three-set loss on Friday at the NCCAA Regional tournament, Greenville was back on track at home as they fought to a 30-26, 30-24, 22-30, 30-25 victory.

Julie Kaufmann dominated offensively for Greenville finishing the match with 21 kills on just 44 attempts. Michea McKay was equally effective adding 17 kills on just 40 attempts. As a team, Greenville hit .286 for the match.

Greenville continues to hold a comfortable 2nd place spot in the standings with an 8-2 record; two games ahead of third place Webster who is 6-4. Fontbonne remains undefeated in conference play at 10-0, and Greenville will attempt to move one game out of first place as they travel to play at Fontbonne on Wednesday night. Fontbonne defeated the Lady Panthers in three sets earlier this year.
