To my surprise I see that I’ve got another SP to build with!!! Now did I get lucky and the American fail to support the English: No! The French army in 94 has decided to play “Cromwell” and support me into 95. I also note the GA to Paris, which I take for being a request for a long-term alliance.
In my original plan I was going to seek out and remove France from South East Asia but they are far more useful as an ally. There are 18 CA’s this turn and a whole lot of the world has responded to the CA and broken alliance with England! This is not a bad thing as England will more than likely have their hands full and be “thankful” for a quiet border with China, making it easier to take out the Americas.
