Here is a bird's eye view of my version of the Advanced Tutorial layout. I decided to make some modifications and used XTrkCad to lay everything out. The general concept is a simple loop that is divided by a backdrop down the middle of the layout. This helps to create two separate scenes where trains can come in and out. The top half of the plan is Codyville and the lower half is Adrisport.

By hovering over layout image, you can get an idea of the buildings I used when developing each of the towns. You can also hover over some of track to find out their functionality. (Internet Explorer only)
