MAKE A DIFFERENCE

You can make a difference. The Lord states in Matthew 9:37-38 "Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest." One person (Coach Bill Parcells) made a difference in my favorite football team ~ the New York Jets. The Jets went from the basement to contention for first place in their division. In worldwide missions, you can make a difference as one person! In Missions we have a partnership with those in the field. They go to the "Pits" but we must hold the ropes for them. This year make a difference in Missions throughout the world . Consider your Partnership in holding the ropes in the following areas: · Consider your Prayer Support - Your prayer will open doors of opportunity, have you been utilizing God’s power!! Colossians 4:3 "Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:" · Consider your Financial Support - Your giving to the work of Missions will produce eternal fruit and meet earthly needs. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 "Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God." · Consider your Encouraging Support - When was the last time you sent a letter of encouragement, a gift, a birthday card to your Missionary? Can some missionary thank God upon every remembrance of you? Phillipians 1:3-5 "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;" · Consider your Field Support - Although you are not going to the uttermost parts of the world, are you going to your Jerusalem? Folks, this year could be the return of our LORD JESUS for His Own. Will you have made a difference for those that still have yet to hear the Glad Tidings that Christ has paid for their sins on the Cross of Calvary and that they can become a child of God. Let’s be busy about the Master’s business.
