GalleriesChristmasThis is the first of the galleries, created for Christmas 1998. It shows artists' conceptions of various events in the Advent season, beginning with the Annunciation and ending with the Adoration of the Magi. EasterI created the second gallery for Easter of 1999. It shows artists' conceptions of the events of Holy Week, beginning with the scourging of the Temple and ending with the Ascension, which technically isn't part of Holy Week, but you have to leave some "curatorial license." ChurchesBecause of the positive response to the first two galleries, I created this third one during Summer 1999. It shows various views of churches in fine art, sometimes in the background, sometimes as the goal, sometimes the center of attention. At the end of that summer, I received greater responsibilities at work and attention to the website faltered. In July 2000, I created a fourth gallery depicting various events in the life of King David, who provided our parson with sermon topics over the course of the summer. You can see this by clicking on the link to the church website. These are not exactly as they appeared on the church website; new background
graphics have been created for each.
