I've recently formed a private group on eGroups to develop a project, and
I had a Word 98 file that I wanted everyone on the group to be able to see.
I have uploaded the file to my group's shared files area, but I can't figure
out how to view my own file from there. I'm using Netscape 4.7 on a Mac, and
when I click on my file, Netscape says I need a plug-in, so it takes me to
a page to download the plug-in that's needed for this file, only the page
says that there are 0 plug-ins available for this file type. The file type
is showing up as "application/octet-stream" and I'm not getting
anywhere with it. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or how I should have
saved the file so that others (or at least I) can read it?
