Factotum

(fak-TOH-tuhm)
(n.) An employee or assistant who does pretty much everything

It's from the Latin words fac ("to make or do," as in the benefactor who "does good") and totum, or "everything", a relative of words such as total.

"Then again, if you really want something done right, ask Charles. He's the factotum around here."
