It's always nice to find a tool that helps you get your job done--especially when editing XML files and DTDs! Many tools let you do one or the other, but XML Mate effectively combines the two. XML Mate also supports XML Schema and lets you generate XML documents from a variety of sources, such as Word, RTF, and ODBC databases. The interface seems a little odd to me, but it's worth checking out anyway.
