One of the best features of XML is its total independence from any particular platform or development tool. I've seen XML applications written in many languages, including Java, Visual Basic, and C++. I've also had the chance to work with Borland's development tool, Delphi. Although Delphi hasn't garnered the popularity of Java and Visual Basic, I have found that those of us who love it REALLY love it!
