MicroLight Aircrafts Collection 01: 
About Microlights: Island Microlight Club (Malta) is the first club of Microlight flying in Malta and was founded in 1998 by Major Alex Dalli and Captain Mark Said, Island Microlight Club is also a member of the BMAA (British Microlight Aircraft Association). Microlights operate from Malta International Airport and have the availability of 4 Runways 32/14 and 24/06. 

There are 2 types of Microlight aircrafts, Flexwing (Weight Shift) and Fixed Wing (2-3Axis). These small light aircrafts do not exceed 450Kgs MTOW (Maximum Takeoff Weight) 2 Seater Landplane, Wing loading does not exceed 25Kg/m2, Not more than 50L of Fuel onboard and Stalling Speed does not exceed 35Knts (41Mph/65Km/h).

Presently there are 7 Microlights registered in Malta of which 5 of them are 3-Axis and 2 Weight Shift (Flexwing).
