In all historical honesty, the Battle of Winceby was more a skirmish than a full blown battle and had little real bearing on the final outcome of the English Civil War. However, it did involve a Colonel Cornelius Vermuyden - who was quite possibly Cornelius Vermuyden of Fenland drainage fame's son.
