NAME: Seta Soujirou, the Tenken, member of the Juppon-Gatana, Shishio's prodigy.
MOTTO: "The strong live and feed on the weak, who must die."
INTRO: Soujirou is eighteen years old. He is Shishio's second in command, and he had a rather tragic past. When he was nine or ten, he lived with a foster family. They beat and abused him regularly. He discovered that if he did nothing but smile, they would grow confused and stop beating him. Because of this, Soujirou grew to repress joy, love, and anger. The only emotion he ever showed was ease. One evening, Soujirou witnessed Shishio kill some policemen. Realizing he had been seen, Shishio planned to kill the boy. However, as Shishio approached him to put him to death, all Soujirou did was smile. Shishio was amused by this and told Soujirou to get him food and bandages. He gave the boy his short sword in return, telling him that he was abused because he was weak, and only the strong can survive. When Soujirou's foster parents heard of the criminal that had killed some policemen in their area, they questioned Soujirou about knowing of him. Soujirou denied knowledge, but smiled to himself, because Shishio was hiding out in their storage barn. When Soujirou's foster mother discovered the missing bandages, the family went to beat Soujirou, but they were slain by him instead. Soujirou decided to follow Shishio, and became a great swordsman. Though he could kill without remorse, he was perhaps more cut out to be a rurouni than a killer...
FIGHTING STYLE: Soujirou doesn't really have a defined fighting style. He basically made up his own as he learned. Because he lacks three of the four emotions, his ki is impossible to read during a battle. He has a natural gift for speed, called shikuchi, which moves faster than the eye can follow. He combines this with a battou-jutsu to form a technique which he calls the shuntensatsu.
WEAPON: Soujirou uses a classic Japanese sword, the katana.
