Mel Melissa Sparkles is a free-spirited lass who used to be Geeko's friend back when they were small children. Apparently, he used to be more fun then. She's now moved back to the neighborhood and she doesn't like what Geeko has become. She's now made Geeko her new "project". She wants to make fun part of his life again. She especially wants to renew his interest in girls. She's dubbed herself his lab assistant so she can study the geek in his natural environment. Recently, Mel got zapped by a mysterious beam coming from a purple pizza-box looking thing and found herself with super powers. Mel can now fly and produce fire and ice from her hands.
